About the event
In response to increasing concerns raised by clients of PCRefurb, web safety has emerged as a high-priority topic. Especially for those who are new to using digital devices or accessing the internet regularly.
At Academy HQ, we are committed to supporting our community in building digital confidence and staying safe online. That’s why we would like to facilitate a Web Safety Workshop, designed to equip participants with essential knowledge and practical tips to protect themselves while navigating the digital world.
Some ideas of what this workshop will include:
Understanding common online threats such as phishing scams, malware, and fraudulent websites
Learning how to create and manage strong, secure passwords
How to recognise suspicious emails, messages, and pop-ups
