Vanessa started dancing before she could walk, and with every step her passion for the art has grown! Vanessa studied Musical Theatre at Ashton Sixth Form, giving her the ability to understand how the body moves and allowing her to bring this connection to the dance floor and to her students. She performed for Team England Hip Hop from 2016 through to 2019 and was team captain in both 2017 & 2018. She also co-coached the first ever Team England junior Hip Hop in 2019 where they competed on the ESPN worlds stage. On top of this, Vanessa has coached her own junior and two senior hip hop teams to gain world bids. Vanessa has also been nominated by Tameside Sports Awards for coach of the year multiple times.

Georgia has been dancing at Tycoons since she was 14 years old! She has had massive success in her dancing career competiting with Team England twice and dancing at the USASF Dance Worlds twice. She has also co-choreographs for our co-ed and all girl hip hop team since 2019 as well as her own youth hip hop team. She has studied physical education and sports science at Sheffield Hallam, sharing her knowlege to everyone at Tycoons and spreading the joy of dancing to all of her students. She is always excited to take on new challenges that arise and is excited to see her students grow. She is even more excited that it gets to be at the studio at which she grew up dancing!

Sam has been dancing for Tycoons for 8 years. He is a current member of Team England Pom and also a member of the Team England pom Duo. Sams passion for pom clearly shows in his choreography for his youth and senior pom teams. He continues to attend a number of dance intensives so he can continue to grow his own knowledge to pass along to students! He is passionate about sharing technique and artistry with students so they can share in his love for pom! When he's not dancing, he is the ward coordinater at Tameside hospital.

Megan is going into her 14th season with Tycoons, being one of our longest standing members. As a former athlete of Tycoons, she competed at the NDA Daytona Championships and at the USASF Dance Worlds. She has hung up her athlete shoes to concentrate on her hip hop teams, providing them with fun filled sessions and on point choreography.  

Her passion and drive has helped our mini hip hop team secure first place titles regionally and nationally.

As well as thriving in the All-Star dance world, Megan has a Level 3 childcare diploma.

Francis began dancing at 5 years old, completing dance exams and performing in many local dance shows.  She studied dance at A-level and continued to gain a BA (Hons) in Dance.

Francis joined TCA in 2011 after becoming a dance coach for Tameside Active. where she worked as a full-time dance coach for two years, creating and delivering sessions for many primary schools across Tameside.  She has always enjoyed coaching children and choreographing dances in different styles. Since then, she has since gained a Primary PGCE and have been a class teacher for 6 years; teaching all subjects and squeezing in dance as often as possible.

Leah started dancing at Tycoons at the age of 10 years old. She has competed at DisneyWorld with our Co-Ed Hip Hop team and at ESPN with Team England Hip Hop. She has also competed at the NDA Nationals in Daytona where she secured a 1st place, Grand Champions and the Superior Showmanship award.

Hollie competed on Team England Junior Hip hip back in 2018 as well as our home grown Worlds Hip Hop Team, Transonic. She is an active member of Sovereigns, our junior hip hop team that competed at the Elite Cheerleading Championships in Germany, and helped the team gain their first ever Junior Worlds Bid.

Jess is currently training with Team England Freestyle Pom where she will be taking to the floor to compete in the first ever Junior Team. Jess is the definition of an All Star athlete, with level 5 tumble skills and a current spot on both our senior co-ed and Junior hip hop teams.

Kim is going into her fourth season at Tycoons, where he has grown as an athlete and as a coach. Having a natural talent nurturing and encouraging our younger athletes, Kim continues to inspire the younger generation of athletes that walk through our doors.
